To engage rural teachers in the practice of Hope Theory, Professor Chung the head of action plan, 'Hope Theory', held a professional teaching competency lecture for the in-service teachers of Jiadong elementary school on October 28th. Headlining "Classroom Management with Positive Thinking and Sense of Hope" and promoting mindfulness development.
During the lecture, Professor Chung mentioned the technique of Hope Theory, and delivered a strong message of the correlation in classroom management and hopeful thinking. Teachers with positive thinking and possess hopefulness are able to guide their students with more effective way, as well as foster students' learning involvement. Not only sharing the inspiring perspective of classroom management, but also providing approachable ways and techniques to implement the sense of hope in their life.
In remarks, Professor Chung refered to the service of the 'Counseling and Support Center for Teachers' which is available for any in-service teachers in Pingtung and offers free counseling for the first three times.
