【2023 USR EXPO】

The 2023 USR Exposition of Southern Taiwan was held at the Kaohsiung Main Public Library on October 27th and 28th. The theme of this year's exhibition was "The Cultivation of Education for Sustainability."

Through exhibition booths, photography, short films, static displays, and various dynamic activities, the event presented the fruitful results of the USR programs that university students and teachers implemented in 2023. This year, 38 colleges and universities, 54 USR project teams, and other partners actively participated in this grand event. They promoted the exchange of ideas and creative collaboration across borders and regions, aiming to demonstrate the spirit and productive outcomes of USR in local communities through diverse presentation methods.

The SUZAKU PIONEER Project is proud to have been a part of this annual USR Programs event. This year, our team was honored to receive the 'Most Popular Award.' In addition, our short film, 'The Watermelon Adventure,' achieved 6th place in the short film competition. Our preschool English teaching materials, 'FUN心學英語,' garnered significant attention during the exhibition. We took the opportunity to share our results and processes with the public and received praise from various sectors of society. We are excited to bring back the ideas and results from the expo and remain dedicated to our goals in rural education.
