On August 26, 2024, a delegation from the National Pingtung University, comprising Professor Lee Yating, Dean of the College of Education, Professor Lin Sheauwen, former Vice President, Professor Huang Yuzhi, former Dean of the Dawo Mountain College, and Professor Lin Ruixing, Director of the Physical Education Department, visited the Czech Taipei Economic and Cultural Office. The delegation was warmly received by Section Chief Hung Tingfu of the Science Division.

During the meeting, the delegation provided Section Chief Hung with a detailed overview of their visit to the Czech Republic, including the institutions they planned to meet and the objectives of their mission. They also shared specific plans to promote collaborative exchanges between the two sides. Section Chief Hung expressed high regard for National Pingtung University’s efforts in international exchange, particularly recalling the school flag presented by President Chen Yongseng and Director of International Affairs Chen Huangzhou during their previous visit to the office. A group photo was taken to commemorate the deep friendship between both parties.

In addition, Section Chief Hung highlighted the close cooperation between Taiwan and the Czech Republic in various fields, especially in music, arts, semiconductors, and Mandarin language teaching. He emphasized Taiwan’s active role in international academic exchanges. This visit not only deepened our understanding of Taiwan-Czech relations but also demonstrated Taiwan's determination to enhance its visibility in the international community. Through this meaningful exchange, it is believed that with joint efforts, the cooperation between the two countries will continue to deepen, injecting more vitality into the development of education and culture in both nations.
